Hi, I’m Matt, founder of Ember & Ledger. I live on the NSW South Coast with my Pomchi, Mazzy.
My background combines Counselling, Community Services, Business, and IT, along with specialist study in problem gambling and personal budgeting. I’ve also spent years working in crisis accommodation, supporting people through financial stress, instability, and personal hardship.
Those experiences showed me how easily life can become overwhelming — and how powerful simple systems can be when people need stability the most.
That’s why I created Ember & Ledger: a space focused on practical tools, clear thinking, and steady progress.
